Turo accepts only the following payment methods issued in the primary guest’s name:
Most credit cards issued by major financial institutions, including American Express and Discover
Non-temporary debit cards with a Visa or Mastercard logo that are linked to a checking account. (Includes debit cards from online banks, such as Chime, Ally, and othersDoesn’t include reloadable debit cards such as Simple, Chase Liquid, or EDD)
Revolut card (No other prepaid cards)
Apple Pay on mobile devices in all locations
Google Pay on mobile devices in Canada and the US
For Private Rentals we accept: Cash, Credit Card, Electronic pay, Cash App, Apple Pay.
How old do I have to be to rent a car from Station North Auto Rentals?
You must be at least 21 years of age to rent from us. You must not have any severe moving violations and/or DUI cases on your record. If so, there is a possibility your rental agreement and or reservation will be denied. If you are under the age of 25 you may inquire with us for more information.
Guests can add up to eight additional drivers.
Additional drivers must pass our verification process to be added to a trip.
Can I cancel my reservation?
You can cancel most trips yourself without contacting Turo.
All cancellations are effective immediately
Once you cancel, you’re no longer authorized to receive or drive the car.
The refueling charge for a rental will be $5/gallon.
Tolls: Tolls are charged as a $15/day flat fee and are collected from the security deposit at the end of the rental period.
Driving tickets: Each driver is responsible for their own driving citation’s and driving tickets.
Parking tickets and red light cameras: The renter is fully responsible for any parking citations, and red light camera tickets during the rental period.
Towed vehicle: Any towing charges or damages incurred during the rental cycle will be deducted from the deposit and/or billed to the client.
The client can continue the rental after the charges are paid and the vehicle is released.
Can I return my car a day or more early?
We charge the full amount of the rental in advance or on the day of the rental. Once a vehicle is reserved we are not allowed to rent the vehicle during the days of your rental period. If you cancel early you will be given a credit for future rentals in the amount of days left during your rental period.
How many miles do I get?
It depends on the car you select: some come with unlimited miles, and others have a limit of 200 a day.
Can I get a car for just 1 day rental on Friday, Saturday and Sunday?
We have a 2 day minimum on weekends, and yes in the rental industry Friday is considered a weekend because the demand is considerably higher. However, we can offer a non guaranteed 1 day rental on weekends depending on availability.
We pride ourselves in providing an exceptional experience to our clients that rent our vehicles. We offer airport delivery and or delivery to other locations. The fee will depend on the distance and will include a flatbed curbside/front door delivery option.
At what times can you guys deliver / pick up my rental?
We are a 24hr service, which makes it easy for us to accommodate you on your ever changing schedule and those last minute trips. We can deliver or pick up your rental at no cost within our allowed locations within the hours of 10am (EST) – 8pm (EST). For deliveries or pick ups outside our normal operating hours we charge a $50-$250 surcharge that varies on location and distance.
We advise our clients to allow us a 1 and a 1/2 hour window to make deliveries.
Yes! You can call us to make a private reservation based on our availability.
For Turo Rentals: You don’t need personal insurance coverage if you choose a protection plan made available via Turo. If you have insurance, the liability policy provides secondary (excess) coverage to any auto liability you may have. In the US, coverage is provided up to state minimum limits required for third-party liability, unless primary coverage is explicitly required by an applicable state statute (e.g., Maryland and New York).
For Private Insurance: It is required that you have an active insurance in order to make a private rental.
Is there a Deposit requirement with Station North Auto Rentals?
A $250 deposit must be made when booking Privately with us (Not Applicable For Turo), this amount will be returned upon the trip completion.
